ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW COMMITTEE
It is important for our neighborhood to maintain its premier status. A subset of our board has the right and responsibility to review all aspects of the neighborhood, how it looks and tidiness of properties. This includes but is not limited to lawns, modifications to buildings and structures including fences as well as paint colors, car parking and garbage can locations.
To request a change to any existing structure you must contact the ARC via the HOA email and complete an ARC Request form (available under Documents tab). The ARC does an initial review of complete requests within approximately fifteen (15) business days of receipt. Since approval may require research and follow-up it is difficult to provide a specific estimate. The ARC makes every effort to respond to requests as quickly as possible.
PARKING
By the ordinance of the HOA Board, there is no overnight parking on the streets. Guest parking for social engagements is permitted. For exceptions due to limited guest overnight stays contact the ARC via email. Note, the HOA owns and maintains all roads within the subdivision. Fines will be assessed for violation of the ARC guidelines, including parking violations.
GARBAGE CANS
Garbage Cans – Trash pickup is currently on Tuesdays. Residents are encouraged to bag ALL trash to reduce loose litter and ensure proper pickup. We ask that garbage cans be placed on the street on the day prior to pickup and removed from the street by noon of the day following pickup. For missed trash pickup you may contact the City of Trussville/Public Works Department 205-655-0319. Please store your trashcans on the side or rear of the home as appropriate, no trashcans are allowed to be stored in the front of the home.
YOUR LAWN
It is the responsibility of individual property owners to mow and maintain their lawns, landscaping, trees and so on. Please do your part in maintaining your yard and plants. Residents are encouraged to treat lawns for weeds, however if not, more regular mowing may be required.
PETS
All residents are required to pick up after their pets.
